WHM includes a feature that allows your customers access the following accounts from behind a firewall with port 80:
- cpanel.example.com — The customer’s cPanel account.
- whm.example.com — The customer’s WHM account.
- webdisk.example.com — The customer’s Web Disk account.
- webmail.example.com — The customer’s Webmail account.
Note
In these examples, example.com stands for the customer’s domain.
To enable this feature, select On for the following settings in WHM’s Tweak Settings interface (Home >> Server Confirguration >> Tweak Settings):
- Proxy subdomains
- Proxy subdomain creation
You can also use the /scripts/proxydomains to reconfigure the DNS entries manually.
